Synthetic leather, also known as faux leather, artificial leather, rexine, vinyl or leatherette, is a man made fabric made using PVC or polyurethane (PU) that is treated and
dyed to resemble real leather. Artificial Leather is intended to substitute the natural leather in fields where a leather-like finish is required but the actual material
is cost-prohibitive, unsuitable, or unusable for ethical reasons.
Synthetic leather is a cheaper, a more versatile and an ethically friendly alternative to real leather, which is made from tanned animal hides.
We are leading manufacturers of PVC/PU Artificial Leather using latest technology called Transfer Coating Process.
Our capacity is around 6 Million Meter Length Per year.
We can produce PVC Coated Leather fabric as per customer requirement of shade, embossing pattern and print having fabric thickness of 0.6mm to 3mm.
Process of Manufacturing Synthetic Leather
Synthetic Leather is made by transfer coating process, using transfer coating machines. PVC/PU Coating process is done by applying thin layer called Top Coat
of PVC/PU Paste over special type of paper called Embossed release paper using coating blade or Knife making a uniform coat over the length of the paper.
This layer is dried in a heated oven and is taken to foaming process. In foaming process special type of PVC Paste is applied to the previous Top coat and is heated
in oven. Heat makes chemical changes in the paste and this paste rises to give bulkiness to the fabric.
Finally a Polyester or cotton fabric is pasted on bottom as backing fabric and after drying release paper is taken out giving PVC Coated Fabric.
This fabric can be used for further printing, lamination, Lacquers and embossing to give variety of patterns.

Specifications of Synthetic Leather
Colour – We can change the colour of the PVC itself to match a specific sample as per customer requirment.
Thickness - The thickness can be adjusted by either applying a thicker layer of normal paste, or inserting a foam like blown layer that contains air bubbles.
Substrate - These leather are backed by high performance base fabrics like Circular knits , Warp knits , Woven Matti , Needlepunch Nonwoven
suitable for various applications.
Stiffness - The product can be softened or hardened by using different paste formulations.
UV stabilisers - UV Stabilisers can be added to enhance the material's lifespan when exposed to high levels of sunlight
Flame retardant - We can add chemicals that prevent the material from catching alight when exposed to fire.
Prints - We have large selection of print rollers can do one or two tone print
Lacquers - We have a range of acrylic as well as PU lacquers that can be used to protect the print of printed products, as well as to adjust the sheen of the transfer coated product.
Emboss - We have variety of embossed release papers and also off-line embossing can be done to give deep embossing.

Usage of Synthetic Leather
Automotive
Synthetic Leather is commonly used for seat covers in cars, buses, trucks, trains, bike seat cover as it enhances the aesthetic appeal of the interior at the same time giving us easy maintainability option. Synthetic Leather is also used for door covers, dashboards, truck and bus head liner.
Footwear
Traditionally Natural Leather or Cow leather is procured by killing Animals and has caused Animal activist to express a huge concern. Synthetic Leather is widely replacing traditional leather in the footwear industry because of the variety and durability. Synthetic Leather can be used in shoe uppers, shoe lining and insoles, sandals.
Furnishing
Synthetic Leather is used for furnishing and Upholstery. This synthetic leather comes in variety of color, texture and patterns giving new limits to interior decorators. The synthetic leather is waterproof and yet is flexible and tough. Is it easy to clean and maintain since it is stain resistant.
